Gifts In Kind are donations of Goods and Services that could better the lives of the individuals and families we serve. These include, but are not limited to, the following areas of need:
Food
Food continues to be the most consistent need we have. Regardless of the living status of a homeless individual or family, the need for food is ever-present.
Food drives are a great way to maximize your efforts in feeding the hungry.

Clothing
We are always in need of gently used clothing in all sizes for men, women and children. Please do not donate something that is so worn out that you would not wear it. Lightly worn clothing, shoes and jackets are greatly appreciated as are brand new socks and underwear!
Hygiene/Medical Supplies
We are in constant need of hygiene kits for our clients. Hygiene kits consist of soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, sunscreen, disposable razor, shave cream, wipes and hand sanitizer. Optional items are band-aids, feminine products, lip balm, Ibuprofen, children’s Tylenol, lice combs and shampoo, allergy medicines that are found on publicly accessible shelves (not behind the pharamacist’s counter) such as Claritin, Zyrtec and Allegra and cough drops.
Gift Cards
Donating the following gift cards is an excellent way to provide for the needs of homeless famillies while allowing some spending flexibilty:* Grocery
store * Department store (Walmart, Target, etc.) * Fast food (McDonald’s, etc.) * Gas stations
Professional Services
To help those in need, we rely on volunteers who are willing to put their specialized training, skills and expertise to work for our clients. We welcome volunteers who can provide tutoring, computer instruction, tax preparation services, legal services, motivational workshops, hair cuts, yoga classes, dental exams, eye exams, help with resumes and cover lettersand other professional services for our clients. There are a variety of opportunities on a weekly basis.
